The Origin

Hero Collection Labs was founded by two people with very different backgrounds who shared the same goal: building products that solve real problems.

For as long as Zachary can remember, he has been designing inventions. At three years old, he began keeping an invention journal, and he still has it today. That curiosity eventually led him to earn an Associate of Science in All-Brand Automotive Repair and spend years working as a mechanic and modifying vehicles. The work taught him more than how to repair machines—it taught him how products actually fail, how they're manufactured, and how thoughtful engineering can make them better.

Over time, that hands-on experience expanded into independent research, prototyping, materials science, and mechanical product development. His work has included designing automotive systems, developing experimental composite materials, and conducting lawful testing of protective material concepts as part of ongoing research and development.

Will's path was different.

Growing up, he developed a fascination with engineering, physics, and the machines that shaped history. Encouraged by stories from his grandfather and driven by a desire to understand how complex systems work, he immersed himself in calculus, physics, mechanical engineering, and CAD design. Rather than simply learning how existing machines worked, he wanted to design new ones.

When Zachary and Will met, they realized their skills complemented one another.

One approaches engineering from years of practical fabrication, prototyping, and testing. The other approaches it through analytical design, mathematical modeling, and mechanical engineering. Together, they can move ideas from concept through engineering, prototype development, testing, and refinement.

That partnership became Hero Collection Labs.

Today, the company is focused on developing advanced hardware products across multiple areas, including protective systems, mobility technologies, automotive innovation, and other mechanical products. Some projects are further along than others, but every one follows the same philosophy:

Start with a real problem.

Understand why current solutions fall short.

Design something better.

Build it.

Test it.

Improve it.

Repeat until it's ready.

We're still an early-stage company. Most of our work remains in research and development, and that's intentional. We believe products earn trust through careful engineering, rigorous testing, and continuous refinement—not by rushing them to market.

Hero Collection Labs exists for one reason: to build practical technology that genuinely improves people's lives.
